There have been a few questions relating to the shed series of videos lately, so I thought it would be a good idea to make this follow-up video so I could answer them. The specifics of the insulation installation were of particular interest to some. The Foilboard website doesn’t offer R-values for its products so I decided to calculate the values myself using my old engineering textbooks.
Everyone is concerned with cost these days, and rightly so. I’ve itemised all the materials I’ve used and also broken them down in to categories which I thought may be useful for some.
I’ve also included a sneak peak into some of the future projects happening at Lannix Design. If you saw the previous blog entry on 3D modelling the shed and everything inside it, there’s a couple of video clips at the end of this video that may pique your interest. The 3D modelling video has taken so long to make and I think it’s going really well. It will be the next video I post to YouTube so I hope you’ll come back and see it!
